We don't include heating as standard within our Downland Garden Room prices for two reasons; Firstly, many of our customers prefer to heat their new rooms with mobile convection heaters when required, remembering that the room insulation is so good that for many months of the year that isn't necessary anyway, and secondly because we have evolved into only offering an air conditioning Samsung solution. This is because these modern air-con units can heat extremely efficiently as well as cool when required and dehumidify your new room.
Samsung wall mounted air conditioning system
The Samsung wall mounted 2.5kw air conditioning systems have three main modes and can be switched between heating, cooling and dehumidification. The model we offer has an inverter controlled air conditioner and heat pump at a very reasonable price. They are highly efficient in heat pump mode and so are really cost effective to run.

The attractive top part of the system, pictured here, is placed high on an internal wall of your garden room and the larger condenser unit can be positioned on a back outer wall of your garden room so that it isn't visible.
Downland's opinion; We have fitted numerous of these A/C units and they really do work very efficiently and look great. They are also more affordable than underfloor heating and have the added benefit of helping to keep the room cool in the summer.
